The Fox Valley Marathon was first run in 2010. There is now also the opportunity to run the Fox Valley Half Marathon or Fall Final 20.

Fox Valley Marathon Route
This is a flat and fast race. The route includes towns, bridges, waterfalls, parks, river paths and even an authentic Dutch windmill. It is also well-shaded, preventing runners from getting too hot.

The race starts and finishes in St Charles. Runners set off south along Geneva Street, along and close to the west bank of the river. At mile 14, the race turns north, crossing over to the east bank after miles 17. The route then continues north until crossing back over the river to the east side immediately prior to what many describe as a memorable finish.
