The Silver Comet races are very popular and the half marathon frequently sells out very quickly.

Silver Comet Half Marathon Route
The race takes in part of the Silver Comet Trail, once used by the Silver Comet train that carried passengers from Atlanta to Anniston, Alabama.

Runners start at the Mable House Cultural Arts Center (5239 Floyd Rd Mableton, GA 30126). They run out and back, finishing back at the Silver Comet Bike Depot & Trail Head at Floyd Road.
