The Napa Valley Marathon is often referred to as the "biggest little marathon in the West". There is also a half marathon and a less strenuous 5K race for anyone not looking to run quite so far.

Napa Valley Marathon Route
The Napa Valley Marathon route is one of the most beautiful marathon courses in the world, running the length of the famed Napa Valley wine-growing region.

The race begins in Calistoga, known for its geysers and curative spring. It then winds south along the Silverado Trail eventually finishing at Vintage High School in north Napa.

With the exception of the last half-mile, the whole course is rural. Runners enjoy panoramic views of the valley, flowering fruit trees, and peaceful vineyards, carpeted with golden mustard flowers.

* Cut-off Time : Runners will be expected to finish within 6 hours.
* Pasta party : Typically, there is a Pasta Dinner at 5:00pm, the day before race day, at the Silverado Resort. Price $40 and $25. Seating is limited.
